ROSTAM LEAVES VAMPIRE WEEKEND, GRADES LOOKING GOOD || etc, etc. JAN 2016
Shocking news came to me this morning via my good friend just after I attended my first concert. Yay.
Telling me someone in Vampire Weekend had left, the name starting with a B, I was in denial. Baio and Rostam both had solo careers but they didn't leave the band. Searched up Baio. Nothing. Vampire Weekend. This is the part where I start weeping.
A Guardian article reading "Vampire Weekend co-founder Rostam Batmanglij announces departure from band". I was in denial. I was freaking out. Was my favourite band going to end up like One Direction (Who also just happens to be that good friend's favourite band)? Did he really just pull a Zayn on us?
On the brightside, Ezro announced that LP4 was in the works. Also Rostam isn't completely ditching them.
Okay more personally, my grades are looking, well, fantastic. I was pleased but you know after finding out the secret weapon to you favourite band has just LEFT you can't really dig yourself out of the grave they've dug for you.
Also managed to do pretty well in football. I was commended for my excellent goal-kicking. Did I mention I'm rubbish at sports?
